With a passion for life, adventure, and being the best version of myself I can be, I am continually on a journey of learning and growing. As I travel the world, I will be continually documenting my thoughts and experiences with the intention of inspiring people – igniting a fire within – to realize there is far more to life than what has been placed in front of them, and to live and lead a more connected and positive life. As Socrates believed, stimulating the mind and getting people to think for themselves is crucial in life.

I’m a big health nut–focusing on the quality and source of the foods I eat and fuel my body with. I’m active in many sports–marathon racing, trail running, scuba diving, rock climbing, mountaineering, skydiving–and enjoy being barefoot (or close to it with my Vibram Five Finger toe shoes). I’m an entrepreneur, which encompasses a lot more than simply being “self employed”, I read a lot of books and listening to countless podcasts.  While I respect people’s need for comfort and safety, I’m not a fan of the status quo or a conventional lifestyle, but rather stay true to myself and push the boundaries of my comfort zone.

Don't always believe what you're told. I smile in my passport photo.

Don’t always believe what you’re told. I smile in my passport photo.

Living and leading a life by example is what I believe to a path toward integrity; and being true to yourself. As Gandhi said, “Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.” I still have my struggles, but these are the things I’m willing to go through in order to live an exceptional life.
